Essay Fiesta @ Book Cellar
It's the third Monday of the month, which means Essay Fiesta time at the Book Cellar. Essay Fiesta brings together a cross-section of Chicago's art and writing communities for a night of first-person, non-fiction essays and charity. Tonight features 2nd Story literary director Megan Stielstra, Neo-Futurist alum and playwright Andy Bayiates, stand-up comic Kelsie Huff, Story Club host and producer Dana Norris, and author and humorist Tom Wolferman. A representative from Howard Brown Health Center, one of the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) organizations, will be present to speak about the organization's critical service offerings.
