TallGrass Writers Guild is an independent, largely self-supporting arts guild that's been around since 1980, open to all who write seriously at any level. Since 1996 they've published annual anthologies in conjunction with Outrider Press. They host readings and events throughout the year across Chicagoland. Tonight, as they do the fourth Tuesday of every month, they host an open mic at the Bourgeois Pig. Featured reader is Catherine Fitzpatrick. Bourgeois Pig, 738 W.
