Smoke Daddy in Your Kitchen
Smoke Daddy, the "legendary blues kitchen" on Division, has launched their barbeque sauce onto the shelves of grocery stores like Olivia's Market, Southport Grocery and Cafe, and Provenance Food and Wine. They say it "complements the flavors of a variety of meats and chicken," but I'm wondering what it will do for all the tofu and seitan in my fridge. They plan to sell the sauce online and, by fall, nation-wide.

I found Gates BBQ Sauce at Green Grocer recently (also vegan). This is the first time I've seen it outside Kansas City.

Smoke Daddy had a tasting table at Costco a couple weeks ago and were selling the sauce. I'm not sure if they're still selling it there, however. It is interesting that Costco has had a couple local deals in the past few months. While you can't get it anymore, they were selling cases of Two Brothers for a very low price.
