The city's best place to get cursed at while ordering hot dogs has been shut down by the Health Department. The Wiener's Circle was closed for not having hot water and storing cooked food at unsafe temperatures. Yeah, fuck you, too.
first demon dogs, now the circle. I dont know what I'm going to do with my life. Fuck hot dougs, im trying to get some hot dogs and yell at some bitches in the middle of the night, not whenever they feel like being open. this is truly a great loss to this city.... rumor is the building is for sale as well, so it may be gone for good.

Josh, at both her and Chicagoist you are the only source saying the building is for sale. Except at 7:22 at Chicagoist you said it IS FOR SALE. 8 mins later here, you say it's rumored. Just starting talk or what?
Yeah, Wiener's Circle had some wicked crappy food, and getting yelled at by paper-hat types isn't my idea of a good time. I went there once and it was more than enough.
As far as the quality of food, it's a hot dog stand that primarily is designed to cater to drunk people, not "foodies". It did what it was supposed to do. The "show" in the evening? You only took part in it if you wanted to. I'd been in there a bunch of times, placed my order, got it, ate it and left without once using the words "fuck" or "bitch". No one yelled at me and if they had, for no reason, I would have left right away. The folks that got yelled at WANTED to get yelled at. And there are plenty of places in this city where a meal costs 50 times more than the Weiner Circle and the attitude is just shitty yet no one yells for them to be shut down. They just don't go there anymore, which was a simple rule-of-thumb for anyone who didn't like the Circle to follow. Simple.

I wouldn't eat from that crap-hole if you paid me to do so - if only 'cuz trash talk from food service flunkies is NOT my ideal of great entertainment. Plus, the food at TWC really isn't all that if you ask me.
Hot Doug's is obviously the superior hot dog joint.
BTW I have no affiliation, just one extremely satisfied
