Farmers Markets Opening Soon

Farmer's Market @ MCA, Tuesdays
Even though they likely needed down coats and mugs of hot coffee to make it through the cold morning, the Green City Market opened outdoors this morning. Other Farmers Markets opening through Sunday (and their forecast):

Thursday (52/71, Thunderstorms):
Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington, 7am-3pm

Saturday (48/66, Overcast):
Lincoln Park, Armitage and Orchard, 7am-1pm
61st St. Farmers Market, 6100 S. Blackstone , 9am-2pm
Division Street, 50 W. Division, 7am-1pm

Also, a new market has opened in Rogers Park at the corner or Morse & Glenwood, just off the Morse Avenue Red line L stop.

Glenwood Sunday Market is an independently run farmers' market that opened last weekend June 6th. The market will run every Sunday through October 17th from 9am-2pm on Sundays in Rogers Park at the intersection of Morse & Glenwood Avenues. Located right off the Red Line Morse L stop, it is convenient to public transportation and features all organic produce. Accepts Link cards and credit cards.
