Last Call for Summertime Soup
UIC's weekly Re-Thinking Soup goes on summer hiatus after today's event (noon at Hull House, 800 S. Halsted)--which boasts a special homemade jam auction!--and will be closed until August 19; however, the program's urban gardens are available for tours, and you can visit their farmers market each Tuesday from 12:30-5:30pm at Halsted and Polk.

Thanks for posting this announcement here; I will surely check out the special homemade jam auction. I’m also thinking participating the tour on the program's urban gardens. Anyway, just months after we experienced unusually cold temperatures all around the globe many are bringing our climate change back into question, especially now that we are experiencing record highs around the world. Those on either side of the argument can change our climate information to reveal whatever point they are trying to make, but many fail to realize that climate and environment are not the same and do sometimes have an effect on the other but other times don't. If individuals can reduce damaging our environment now they should rather than taking out payday cash advances to fix it after it is worse.
