And We Have Liftoff: Farmers Markets Opening this Week
Sunday marks the first outdoor day of the Logan Square Farmers Market (Milwaukee and Logan, 10am-3pm); the Glenwood Sunday Market (9am-2pm, Glenwood between Morse and Lunt); the Wicker Park/Bucktown Farmers Market, 8am-2pm; the Pilsen Community Market at 18th and Halsted, 9am-3pm; the Portage Park Farmers Market, which will be held every other Sunday (June 3, 17, etc.) from 10am-2pm at Irving Park and Central; and lastly, the monthly West Humboldt Park Farmer's Market & Bazaar will be held Saturday at 3601 West Chicago.
The Lincoln Square Farmers Market opens up shop Tuesday at the municipal lot at Western and Leland, 7am-1pm (the Thursday Night Farmers Market begins June 14 in the same space). Also opening Tuesday is the Museum of Contemporary Art Farmers Market, 7am-3pm at Chicago and Mies van der Rohe. The South Loop gets into the game with the Wheeler Mansion Farmers Market, which opens Wednesday evening from 4-8pm, 2020 South Calumet. The Hyde Park Farmers Market at 53rd and Hyde Park Blvd opens Thursday, 7am-1pm.

Correction: Portage Park Market will run every other Sunday with the exception of Sept 2. We are located near the corner of Central and Berteau.
