Farmer for a Day
If you've often sat in your air-conditioned cube, staring at beige walls, and thought how being a farmer sounded dreamy. Well, the Greater Chicago Food Depository is looking for people to volunteer this Saturday, Aug. 25 to help harvest corn in Marengo. You can be a farmer for a day, get out of your beige cube, and help people in need. If you go, take some of this with you. You'll be very popular.
