I got rid of a lot of things this past year--very old clothing, papers I'll never need to reference again--and I hope I can hold on to that philosophy about keeping things clean and simple.

What can go? My bad attitude and love of candles (it's an expensive habit).

Andrew Huff / December 28, 2011 3:23 PM

I've got a pile of clothes to donate, and yeah, this winter we'll be clearing the basement of old papers and other random unused stuff.

Mike / December 28, 2011 3:25 PM

What can go? Craptacular food trucks.
What can stay? Local beers. More, please.

Spook / December 28, 2011 4:46 PM

Go! any one who got a beard as part of the beards are cool fad and any women associated with them or admires of said beards. I'm thinking more of a rapture like causation that would take them all away suddenly.

Stay! The Occupy Wall Street Movement and its satellites like Occupy Chicago, etc.,

M / December 29, 2011 1:36 AM

The Marlboro Lights have to go. And the 20 lbs and the too-much Tempranillo.

The girl will stay because she is awesome and I'm going to marry her in 2012.

Giving a shit about politics can go, at least for 2012. It doesn't matter ... we're a center-right country full of assholes I heard on CSPAN today talking about their "Christian" values (stopping the Gays with their Agenda, the evil sluts who want to abort babies, the war on Christmas, rinse-later-repeat) ... we're fuckin' doomed so I'm going to try to just let it go away in my mind for a while.

Getting pissed off at stupid shit like pubic hipster beards can go. Yet loving Spook will always stay. I love you Spook. Happy 2012. Keep on keepin' on, man.
