Which establishments (bars/restaurants) have you boycotted?
If you could be in charge of one thing in Chicago, what would it be/what would you change?
I think Erica needs to be in charge of Fuel from now on.
Since it's the season, what are some ways for a couple to have a nice, simple wedding without going completely insane?
If were to burn down five buildings in the city, which would they be and why?
I'm kind of a Chicago nerd (not to be mistaken with snob)!
Sorry, I just love talking about Chicago. It never gets old. I always think of new things to BS about as they relate to this fine city. !!!
For a sort of tie-in to this month's book club selection, if you could go back in time to attend a Chicago event, what event would you go to?
Actually, most of Erica's questions have already been asked in the past -- which is why we asked for more questions. (Not that yours aren't great, Erica, just we don't want to repeat ourselves.)
I think questions about services are quite handy, i.e. good plumbers, good moving companies, good locksmiths, good mechanics, etc. Also good places to flirt with strangers (bars, stores, classes), given the amusing anecdotes this will surely encourage.
What summer concerts will you be going to?
How do you feel about Lindsay Lohan/Nicole Richie/Olsen twins/(insert name of celebrity who has lost a ton of weight really fast)?
What experiences have you had that made you feel like Chicago was like a small town?
Where do you go for bargains?
What Chicago hotspots do you try to avoid?

What do the voices in your head command you to do?
What's your job? Do you like your job? How did you get it? If you're unemployed, what's your ulcer medication of choice?
Erica,
Venus is, indeed, going to bed. Apparently, Amy S. is grad school bound and doesn't want anyone else corrupting her baby. Horizontal Action boasts OK music coverage, but always struck me, on its better days, as Vice Lite. Me, I'm partial to the2ndhand, and would be even if it didn't showcase my material.
Jen is my new best friend for suggesting a book club related question before I could.
Favorite neighborhood street festival?
One thing someone should know before moving to Chicago?
Tips for finding roommates? affordable housing?
Best Chicago-area day trips?
I also second the services questions--car mechanic recommendations, etc.
I'd like to see you ask us what questions we'd like to see here.
Oh... wait...
Actually it's really hard to come up with completely new ones. Some things I'd like to know though:
Absolute cheapest place to drink.
Best chicken fried steak.
Best bar to go to in the Loop, open on a Sunday.
Secret, secret cheap or free parking places in the Loop, River, North or Gold Coast.
Best regular coffee, you know- the bottomless kind that cost less than a dollar.
Specifics make for good questions too - friendliest bar, cleanest public toilet, fastest lunch service that isnt a chain, best place to watch a cub game that isn't Wrigley or on a roof...
Why not make 'Fuel' more like 'Rearview'-- where everyone can submit questions? I could see a little form where people can send you questions as they think of them-- that way the questions can be topical and up-to-date too...
Uh...what is Fuel.
Uh...what is Fuel. I missed something.
Dean, you're soaking in it. Look at the header for this section.
Craig, people already do submit Fuel suggestions, and we do run them. We don't credit the suggestions we use, mainly because the question is just a starting point.
Pete Anderson, what is the secret to your success, other than your devilish good looks?
what's the next step kate should take towards leading a more fulfilling life?
or something along those lines...
Why does Superman deflect six gunshots off his chest but then duck when the bad guy throws his empty gun at him?
How about tattos and their locations...meanings.....mistakes
Piercings ...etc
places you had sex
Should there be topless beaches in Chicago?
We have dog beaches in Chicago how about nude?
doctor/dentist/chiropractor recs? I'm new to the city and have no idea where to go!
Also, what are people's favorite things to go to/do on the weekend?
I find a good number of cool events -- mostly here -- but on your typical saturday afternoon, I'm usually itching to get out, but I often don't know where to go. What's fun - and cheap/free - to do/see?
Where is the best bagel in the city and suburbs?
Which park is your favorite?
Best elotes in the city (which cart do you stop at)
Most annoying spring/summer sound in the city (there are many more sounds in spring and summer than fall and winter out here, at least winter).
I'd like to hear some feedback on apartments/good neighborhoods to live in/rental companies. I definitely don't think there's enough about that.
Urban Ethos [26]
What is Chicago's "urban ethos"?
