Tyler Perry movies! Especially the Madea ones.
Caramel macchiato from Starbucks. I have them a couple times a year, and each time, they rule. Also, bagel with butter and peanut butter=dreamy.
surfing the web at work.
Mayo on french fries, the soundtrack to the terrible movie The Apple, watching Deadliest Warrior on SpikeTV.
sex. beer. chocolate.
Filet o Fish. Why does it have to be so good?
Filet o' Fish. So good and so bad.
Guiltiest pleasure is two cups of french pressed Intelligentsia each and every morning of my Chicago life. When I lived in Portland, it was most certainly Stumptown. And although I never, never eat fast food, a friend convinced me to try Filet o Fish, and it was quite, quite guilty and pleasurable, but only when it was a $1.99. I secretly went back to Mickey D's on my own, and when I saw that they had jacked up the price to $3 something, I walked out, the pleasure diminished.
Wow, lots of love for the Filet o' Fish around these parts.
Jennifer.
ice cream! all year, any season.
Writing posts for GB on Moveable Type while I'm sitting at my desk at work... so baaaaaad (Shhh, don't tell anyone).
Pop music singles from 1977-79.
"Ice cream" cones from McDonalds on a really hot day. They remind me of my childhood.
butterscotch sauce over vanilla ice cream with nuts on top
The show "work of art" on bravo (or online)
It is the Filet o Fish of tv shows.
court shows like "Judge Judy." I'm so embarrassed, and yet they reassure me my life isn't too bad.
Katrina and the Waves. The one time they played here [at the Park West waaaay back in the day] I was -this- close to bringing Ms. Leskanich some roses [sighhh...] Thankfully, I didn't [couldn't afford to lose my big bad punk rocker cred]. But summer fun hooks + big cute = max guilty pleasure. The whole album. Still!
Entering sweepstakes.
Scanning the weekly giglist in my local City Pages and reading the band names aloud. Entertainment for anyone listening.
Real Housewives of N.J. I hate to admit this and frankly, I've only seen about 6 episodes from various seasons and I have decided I can't endulge anymore because the anxiety I experience after viewing them is more than I or my husband can bare. I just can't believe the way the are and act, it's fascinating and disgusting.
--The show 1000 Ways to Die, on Spike TV. It's gruesome, but oddly fascinating.
--Sex and the City reruns
--peeing in my shower in the morning
--reading the "Missed Connections" listings in the reader. I so want to be someone's "missed connection" someday!
I was someone's Missed Connections once, it was amazing! I still have the ad in my wallet, years later. I dated him for three months, which was two and a half months too long - he was a tool - but I wanted it to work out so badly since it was a great How You Met story. Reading MCs is a great guilty pleasure.
A semimonthly cigar, hip-hop, and good horror movies. It use to be Stephen King, until he went pop, just like rap music

Another recycled one; again, it's been long enough that our guilty pleasures may have changed.
Mine? Dunkin' Donuts.
