Repeal the Global Gag Rule. I was really expecting him to do it today...seeing as it is the anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision and reinstating it was the first thing Bush did in office.

Looks like he's already on the way to closing Gitmo and repealing some of W's last minute regulations, which I find pretty impressive considering its only been a day. I think he'll also probably get the economic stimulus thing done by the end of January and repeal the global gag rule... maybe Don't Ask Don't Tell too, I think he can just sign that one off without a vote maybe.

I think there will be a lot of proposals similar to what he had on his campaign website - the new White House website is very similar to it - but what else he will actually be able to accomplish in the next few weeks depends on the economy, in my opinion. No one is going to care about anything but trying to turn this economy around for the foreseeable future.

Er... I mean tomorrow is the anniversary. Perhaps I will wake up to good news in the morning. And I agree with JJ that I am pleased with how swiftly he has started to address the Gitmo closure.

Dakota Fawning / January 21, 2009 3:13 PM

Clark Kent / January 22, 2009 1:53 PM

Ten days to solve the financial crisis.

Ten days to fix healthcare.

Twenty days to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The final sixty days will be spent playing H-O-R-S-E with Rahm, Hillary and Ben Bradley.
