Ride the CTA to work.
I would cover the grated bridge at Loomis and the canal for the bike lane.
Riding over that sucks.
Fix the weather problem... wtf.
So, speaking of first acts, Ramsin posted Mayor Emanuel's first orders in Mechanics.
if *i* were rahm? i have a moral center and a backbone, so i'd apologize for entering a race i wasn't eligible for and start arranging for a runoff.
Arrest Richard J. “R.J.” Vanecko for murder. But I'm sure he will just end up with an even bigger fat lucrative contract just like every one else associated with Daley will continue to get

LOL. When he was doing his 'listening tour', he'd go to an El platform and shake some hands.
He then went down to his fleet of SUVs, DROVE TO THE NEXT EL STOP, and shook some more hands.
(Which actually probably makes him the mayor with the most El experience in the last 30 years...)
spend money on a bike lane that the city doesn't have? Thats why the city is broke, spending $$$ on things it does not need. Roads are for cars, period.
Issue an executive order that any city-affiliated entities are barred from doing business with any company that the now former Mayor Daley is in any way involved with.
Change my name to Richard Daley. It would make it a lot simpler for the rest of us.
Enroll my kids in CPS.
Resign--I never should have been allowed to run.

I think Daley and the many lapdogs in City Council made a lot of us completely uninvested in (or furious with) local government. I hope Rahm can start undoing the ugliness of what 50+ years of Daleys did while in charge of the city. I'd like the "we don't nobody nobody sent" ideology to go to its grave.
