Fuel

Irisheyes1212 / February 12, 2009 10:21 AM

Email, during work hours, or on my cell during my commute. At work, I'm the one answering all the calls so even if I'm trying to avoid you, chances are you'll get me. Commute home is when I take care of calling mom n dad, etc.
Once I get home unless you are my parents, boyfriend, best friend, or someone I really want to talk to, I probably won't answer. My parents don't always make that cut either...hey they had their 4-4:40 window!

If you are an unknown number, not a chance I will answer, ever.

Questions like this make me think that fuel is really a fake forum that is collecting info to sell to 3rd parties....

The bakery section @ Dominick's.

Between my legs.

@spence Yes, we're selling this info along with your breakup stories and your Blagojevich poetry. Very valuable info.

Seriously, I thought of this question as I walked into the office this morning. We've never sold information to marketers (and have never been asked), and the only time we've collected demographic info from our readers, it was in a survey, not Fuel.

Eh, that varies a lot. Generally I'm not one for taking phone calls - I prefer texts.

Though there are a select few whose calls I'll always take.

printdude / February 12, 2009 1:47 PM

During the workday, it's the email. During the evening it can be hard to find me, but the BEST place to find me is to leave a message on the home phone/landline. I miss cell calls when I get outta range, and I sometimes go days and days without checking a few email accounts (when not working; then I find all kinds of reasons to use all my contact email addys.)

They make me answer my phone at work. I have caller ID on it, but it just shows phone numbers so it's kind of useless. I don't know anyone's phone number except my own and one guy I know who has the same phone number he's had forever. I don't even know my parent's phone number. I know their area code changed a few years ago, but I don't know what to.

eee / February 12, 2009 4:13 PM

E-mail during the day, cell phone after 5 pm. Or before 5 pm if it's an emergency, but only then.

spence / February 12, 2009 4:44 PM

Sorry...just some paranoia....

mary / February 12, 2009 5:53 PM

email. i never answer unknown numbers, sometimes dont answer known numbers, and generally hate talking on the phone.

email is the way to go.

fluffy / February 12, 2009 6:56 PM

call me anytime @ my cell and leave a message. By the time I find my cell phone, I've missed the call. Or email me during work hours.

Brandy / February 12, 2009 7:00 PM

When I'm within arms length.

Steven / February 12, 2009 8:02 PM

My wallet.

annie / February 12, 2009 11:01 PM

I love to text. I hate to talk on the phone. I wish I could get my mom to text, then I would have no use for the phone other than to text.

Brian / February 13, 2009 7:18 AM

I don't answer numbers I don't know outside of the 8 local area codes. So if you're local, I answer. If out of this area, I don't. So e-mail is better to reach me by.

jennifer / February 13, 2009 8:26 AM

email is the best, esp. as I'm a grad student and my schedule is off and on with classes and teaching throughout the day.
