"Psycho" at Soldier Field

Unless you've got a ticket to watch the Bears, this is the only way you're getting in to see the newly "renovated" Soldier Field this year. This Fall festival features carnival rides, hay rides, games and food outside the stadium, and Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller "Psycho" at 7:30pm. on the stadium's two huge screens. Chuck Jones Tribute

Laugh yourself silly at a tribute to the late Looney Tunes director Chuck Jones. This retrospective screening will features a 14 classic cartoons, including "Rabbit of Seville," the original "Duck Dodgers in the 24th and 1/2 Century," "Little Beau Pepe" and "One Froggy Evening." Chowhound Allnightathon

Chicago's Chowhounds know how they'll be using their extra hour this weekend: eating. Their Allnightathon will dirty tablecloths from Hyde Park to Uptown and at many points between. WPA Mural Tour

As part of the Chicago Neighborhood Tours series, author Heather Becker leads a bus tour of some of the recently rediscovered and restored WPA murals around the city. Stops include the Chicago Conservation Center, Lucy Flower High School, Nettlehorst Elelmentary and Lane Tech. Tour departs from the Chicago Cultural Center at Michigan and Randolph at 10am (check-in is at 9), returning at 3:30pm. Tickets are $50 adults, $45 for seniors and students; includes lunch. Asian American Jazz Festival

Hothouse is hosting the Asian American Jazz Festival this Friday and Saturday night. Day two highlights acts from or with a connection to Chicago's sister city, Osaka, Japan, including Ruriko Ogani, Jennifer and the Shirayuri Shojo Choir, Yoko Noge and the Jazz Me Blues All Stars and Seiji Yuguchi Wabi Blues section, Osaka's Hide's Blues Band and Mia Park's Panda Panda from Chicago. Akram Khan Company

Kaash, the Hindi word for if, explores the forces of creation and destruction--from the power of Hindu gods to the black holes of modern physics. Come to the Museum of Contemporary Art this weekend as Akram Khan and his dancers perform to a mesmerizing score by BBC Radio award-winning Nitin Sawhney. MCA Members $17, Public $22.
