A cavalcade of colorfully-named, Technicolor-hued bands, primarily electronic in nature, will enhance the ambience Hotti Biscotti (3545 W. Fullerton), bringing about drinking and dancing (or head nodding). Included on the bill: William Sides Atari Party, EaVil, The Buoyant Sea, David Diarreah, Hate Moms, and others. 9 p.m., no admission charge listed.

Social Junk, Unseen|Unknown, Abduction @ Enemy

Tonight, Wicker Park venue Enemy (1550 N. Milwaukee Avenue, 3rd Floor) hosts three bands with an emphasis on drone, folk, and esoterica: Social Junk (from Ashland, Kentucky), Unseen|Unknown, and Abduction (both from Chicago). Abduction features Neil Jendon, ex-Zelienople. 9 p.m., $5 at the door.

Movies in the Park

The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight's screenings: Happy Feet (PG) at Humboldt Park (1400 N. Sacramento Ave.); and Kicking & Screaming (PG) at Blackhawk Park (2318 N. Lavergne Ave.); and also at Rowan Park (11546 S. Avenue L). Black Harvest festival opening night @ Film Center

The Gene Siskel Film Center presents its 13th annual Black Harvest International Festival of Film, Video, and TV. The festival opens tonight at 7:30 PM with a screening of short films, a presentation of the festival's annual Deloris Jordan Award for Excellence in Community Leadership, and a reception with food provided by Whole Foods Market. Midnight Yoga @ Bloom Studio

Looking for an interesting alternative to the loud, smoky bar scene? Do something good for yourself and participate in a candlelight yoga class accompanied by live music. BFF Show @ Rotofugi Gallery

Rotofugi presents the BFF Show in its gallery, 1955 W. Chicago Ave., featuring art by Blutt, Joey D, Joey Potts, Ken Keirns, Peabe, Phoneticontrol, Revise CMW, Shawnimal, Veggiesomething and Yunicorn, tonight from 7pm to 10 pm. Opening Reception for Unit 2 Art Collective

Tonight is the opening reception for the Unit 2 Art Collective group show, featuring works of sculpture, drawing, video, painting and photography from fourteen Chicago artists. The opening reception will take place from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at 1040 North Halsted.
