Tomorrow Never Knows Festival: White Williams, Cadence Weapon, Ohmega Watts, Ecstatic Sunshine

Day 4 of the TNK fest at Schubas is not sold out (yet) and can certainly be regarded as this weekend's party night, with playful and whimsical guitar duo Ecstatic Sunshine, funkadelic hip-hop guru Ohmega Watts, fresh Canadian rapper Cadence Weapon, and a throw-down headline set from happy hardcore hero, White Williams. RAGAD #5 release party @ Book Cellar

RAGAD celebrates Issue #5 with a reading tonight at The Book Cellar (4736 N. Lincoln). Among the readers scheduled tonight: Ben Tanzer; Spencer Dew; Pete Anderson; and Jill Summers. Chicago Winter Bike Swap

Buy and sell new and used merchandise with retailers, manufacturers, teams and individuals at the 2008 Chicago Winter Bike Swap. 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Old Orchard Country Club in Mount Prospect (700 West Rand Road). Peruse the racks for complete bikes, digs for parts, sell or swap your wares, or add to the Bikeswap Wishlist in advance to better your odds of meeting your specific need. Studs Terkel @ Chicago History Museum

Acclaimed writer Studs Terkel makes an appearance at the Chicago History Museum today to discuss his latest work, Touch and Go. 78th Annual Boat, RV & Outdoors Show

The 78th Annual Chicago Boat, RV & Outdoors Show will be held at McCormick place through Sunday, January 20. The show features over 600 boats, 200 RVs, marine accessories and outfitters and offers a variety of hands-on interactive activities, including a 170 ft indoor river allowing visitors to board a canoe, electric boat or kayak to get the feeling of traveling down a river. Numerous prizes and giveaways will be awarded each day. Admission is $10 for adults, $4 for those 13-15 years of age, and free for children 12 and under. Call 312-946-6272 for more information.

Pit er Pat & Detholz @ AV-arie

The Dill Pickle Food Co-Op is holding a fundraiser that should appeal to anyone's inner hedonist and activist at the same time. Performances from Pit er Pat, Detholz, and Reds and Blue will be complimented by DJ sets from Bobby Conn and WLUW's Mary Nisi from 11:30 'til 1 in the mornin'. A donation bar on top of everything else brings you one fine evening for 15 bones. All proceeds go towards the Co-op, so drink with a clean conscience...Door open at 8PM, show at 9PM.

Chicago Outfit Fundraiser @ Milio's

The Chicago Outfit, the rollerderby league that rose from the ashes of the Chi*town Sirens, is holding a fundraiser at Milio's Hair Salon, 959 W. Belmont, tonight starting at 8pm. There will be beer and jello shots, and bands, DJs and hip hop artists performing (names TBA). All for $8 (or more if you're feeling generous).
