Christa Donner: ExtraSensory @ Museum of Surgical Science
Artist Christa Donner exhibits zines, photographs, works on paper, and drawing-based installation in a show called "ExtraSensory" at the International Museum of Surgical Science. The show opens tonight with a reception from 5–8 p.m. and runs through July 18. The IMSS is located at 1524 N. Lake Shore Dr. (inner drive).
Inaside Chicago Dance @ Ruth Page Center
Inaside Chicago Dance has created an evening of dancing inspired by the drip period of Jackson Pollock's artwork. In the Painting will be a "multimedia dance experience," beginning with a short film about Pollock's life and art, and continuing with choreographed works that include a multimedia element.

Mannequin Men @ Empty Bottle
The Mannequin Men will play the Empty Bottle before heading out to the rest of the country for a short tour. New member Miles Raymer replaces Rick Berger on bass, but the snark and charm remains. Tyvek opens. Show starts at 8 PM, admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the door. 1035 N. Western Ave.
