Radiolab, a spectacular WNYC radio program, comes to Chicago for two nights of shows. Their topic: "Martian Invasion", specifically the legendary "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast of 1938. "Martian Invasion" runs tonight and tomorrow night at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater (2433 N. Lincoln) at 7:30pm. Local crime author Sean Chercover comes to the Book Cellar to read from and sign his latest novel Trigger City. The book continues the investigations of P.I.
