Facets Night School: Over The Edge

Facets Multimedia presents the second session of Facets Night School, midnight screenings of classic and cult movies with discussions about each film. Tonight's film is Over The Edge from 1979, featurin great performances by Matt Dillon and Vincent Spano. Facets employee Phil Morehart leads a post-screening discussion. Rollin' Outta Here Naked: A Big Lebowski Burlesque

Vaudezilla presents "Rollin' Outta Here Naked: A Big Lebowski Burlesque," at 10pm tonight and every Saturday in September at the Gorilla Tango Theatre, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave. -- as well as at Lebowski Fest. Featuring dances inspired by the cult classic film, performers Red Hot Annie, Wham Bam Pam, Donna Touch, Bonny Babs and Maria May I will have you out of your element in no time. Tickets are $15 in advance.

World Kitchen Learning Series @ Gallery 37

The "Cardamom Kitchen" class, part of the city's World Kitchen learning series, will get you cooking with some of the more exotic spices in the cabinet. Class runs 11am-2pm at the Gallery 37 Center for Arts at 66 East Randolph, admission is $30, and registration is required

Renegade Craft Fair

Another outdoor go for the Renegade Craft Fair. Hopefully this one won't end up a mess of wet yarn and umbrellas. This year the renowned DIY craft show is located on Division St. between Damen & Hermitage in Wicker Park. Entry to the fair is free. The booths will be open from 11am-7pm today and tomorrow.

"Where's Waldo In The Windy City"

"Where's Waldo In The Windy City" is a real life hunt for Waldo of "Where's Waldo?" fame. Boundaries for this event are Wabash, Wacker, Congress, and the lake. The hunt happens today from 4pm to 6pm. For more information or to RSVP, check out the hunt's Facebook page. [via]

Regina Spektor @ The Chicago Theatre

Quirk filled singer-songwriter Regina Spektor comes to The Chicago Theatre tonight, supporting her fifth album entitled Far (which has a few songs produced by Jeff Lynne of ELO fame). If it is anything like her past work, expect it to be filled with pop-y goodness, wit, humor and a hiccup or two. You can get your tickets here. The show starts at 8. Bloodshot Records 15th Anniversary Party @ Hideout

Also billed as one of the local label's "Beer-B-Q's", the "Hideout Street Party" and this year's installment of the Hideout Block Party today is the day when Bloodshot rocks its hometown out in the streets at 1354 W. Wabansia. The day will feature music from noon-10pm, a Kidz Area, Sand Belt Racing, a drunken spelling bee, food, drink and loads of fun.
