Conversations in Cheese

Fox & Obel (401 E. Illinois) hosts this class dicussing the seasonality of cheese. Kathy Guidi, Maitre Fromager leads the talk, where participants will look at cheeses of late summer and fall and learn when a cheese's optimal flavor comes out. Marx Brothers screening, discussion @ Music Box

The Music Box Theatre presents a screening of the Marx Brothers classic Animal Crackers and a discussion of the comedy troupe's legacy, with people working on the Goodman Theater's current production of Animal Crackers. The Unrealized Opportunity in Health Care

The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business are partnering to present this forum on health care. The talk will be led by David Cutler, Otto Eckstein Professor of Applied Economics, Department of Economics and Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. The event takes place at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (20 S. Wacker Dr.), with registration starting at 5:30pm, followed by the talk and discussion at 6. Cost is $5.
