Facets Cinematheque continues its Night School screenings in October with screenings of classic horror films Tonight's film is Lucio Fulci's disturbing 1979 Zombie and includes a pre-screening lecture and Q&A session after the film. The Music Box Theatre and Movieside Film Festival present Music Box Massacre 5, a 24-hour festival of horror movies. Riot Fest 2009 is bringing us a huge line-up at the Congress Theater tonight, with California's NOFX as the headlining act. Also on the roster are Cock Sparrer, the reunion of 88 Fingers Louie, Street Dogs, Youth Brigade, Shot Baker, and Off With Their Heads. The show is all ages with doors at 4pm. The Congress Theater is located at 2135 N. Milwaukee Ave. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here, however there are several other ticketing options if you plan on attending more than one day of Riot Fest. The Chrome Czars Motor Club presents the eighth annual Hunnert Car Pileup "The Midwest's Greasiest Hot Rod Show," today at the historic Grundy County Speedway and fairgrounds in Morris. Featuring some of the Midwest's best examples of traditional style hot rods and Kustom Kulture, this is the show for the truly hardcore enthusiast, last years show drew 1200 rods, customs and motorcycles.
