Lady Gaga Tribute @ Kit Kat

Lady Gaga's show at the United Center tonight may be sold out, but The Kit Kat Lounge, 3700 N. Halsted St., has the next best thing: a night-long celebration of the queen of the monsters. Diva Aurora Sexton performs as Lady Gaga throughout the evening, and the club's sound system and big screens will be showing her greatest hits. Both the food and drink menus will be half price, and three Gaga-themed cocktails will be served. No reservations required; 21+.

Buddy Wakefield @ 1104 Center, Columbia College

Buddy Wakefield is performing as a part of the noncompetitive events of Louder Than A Bomb. Tonight at 7pm at the 1104 Center, Columbia College (1104 S. Wabash Ave.), you're lucky enough to see him as an extended feature set of the Silver Tongue Reading Series. Admission is free!

You, Me, Them, Everybody @ Hungry Brain

You, Me, Them, Everybody does their monthly thing at the Hungry Brain, 2319 W. Belmont Ave., tonight at 9pm. Guests include Interview Show host Mark Bazer, comic Mike Lebovitz, The Clams, and Jeremy Tromburg as musical interludist. No cover, 21+.

Mexican Cooking Class @ Mercadito

You may have seen the Mercadito deal on Gilt City Chicago back in December for an evening of cooking and cocktails with Chef Patricio Sandoval and a group of your friends. If $2,500 was a bit too rich for your blood, however, and you like meeting new people, consider yourself presented with a second chance now, since Mercadito is holding a chef-led cooking class for only $70 per person on Monday, February 28. The evening, "Explore the South of Mexico Region," will feature five dishes, from tamales to flan (and who hasn't been to intimidated to try either of those in their apartment's galley kitchen?), with paired cocktails from the mixology staff. Reservations are required in advance. Mercadito, 180 W. Kinzie, 312.329.9555, class starts at 6pm.
