Weedeater & Saviours @ Reggies

Weedeater headlines a gargantuan night of stoner metal at Reggies. The Wilmington, North Carolina trio brings it full steam with a devastating arsenal of riffs. Oakland's Saviours provide a little doom with one of the hardest-hitting rhythm sections in action. Bison B.C. and Fight AMP open. The show's $18, 17+ and doors are at 8PM. Reggies is at 2105 S State.

County Fair @ Garfield Park Conservatory

Despite the recent hail damage, Garfield Park Conservatory holds its County Fair harvest celebration today. If you're a gardener, show off your own prize harvest by entering the Harvest Showcase. The conservatory celebrates the county fair spirit with beekeeping demonstrations, live music, a recipe swap, garden tool sharpening, and more at this family-friendly event. Admission is $5, and the conservatory is located at 300 N. Central Park Ave, conveniently near the Conservatory Green Line stop. Check out their event page for more information.

Fork and the Road Tours: Deli-cious

Eat at several of the city's best delis today on this bike-guided tour, led by Fork and the Road Tours. Event runs 10am-2pm and begins and ends at Kitchen Sink Cafe, 1107 W. Berwyn. Cost $60.

Dweebs, Geeks and Weird-Os @ Harold Washington Cultural Center

Tonight, the Harold Washington Cultural Center, 4701 S. King Dr., presents the premiere of Dweebs, Geeks and Weird-Os, for two shows, at 4pm and 8pm. This musical "dramedy" follows the story of 3 socially inept youths and their quest to make it big in the music industry and the challenges they face along the way. Brilliant Corners of Popular Amusements @ Eckhart Park

This three-day-long event at Eckhart Park (1330 W. Chicago Ave.) features music from such acts as Shellac, School of Seven Bells and Sidi Toure, circus and acrobatics performers, a farmers market, the Renegade Craft Fair, and a fun walk/run. I wish more outdoor festivals were like this! Admission to some events is free; others run up to $20.

ART WAR @ Treasure Town

This epic, experimental, two-day art/performance fest in Little Village promises to deliver -- with interactive installations, live murals, combative performance, culinary experiments, sustainable fashion, fire-spitters, a skate park, a tattoo artist & the tamale guy (to skim the surface). If you're looking for a lively, unusual time, look no further. Tonight's event starts at 8:08pm. Treasure Town is located off the Pink Line at 2106 S. Kedzie. Dewar's Tasting Party @ Renaissance Schaumburg

Dewar's Premium Scotch Whiskey will be holding a complimentary scotch tasting on the Terrace at the Rennaissance Schaumburg Hotel. Scotch experts will be on hand to walk you through sips of scotch at each stage of production from 6pm to 8pm Swing by Ikea for a dinner of meatballs and shopping to sober you up for the drive home.

Adobofest 2011 @ LaBagh Woods

Edgewater GRalley Festival

The Edgewater GRalley Festival runs from noon to 10pm at Granville and Greenview avenues, and features local businesses, artists and music -- plus a green pavilion. Funkadesi and Michael McDermott headline. Admission is $8 online, $10 at the door; family passes are $20 online, $25 at the door.

Art on Track

Art on Track, a mobile art gallery and garden on the CTA, circles the loop tonight from 5pm to 10pm. Enter at the Adams & Wabash station; admission is whatever it cost you to get there.
