Stony Island @ Siskel Center

Stony Island, a 1978 film set on the South Side, gets its first screening in ages at the Gene Siskel Film Center, 164 N. State St., at 8:15pm tonight. Director Andrew Davis and stars Tamar Hoffs, Richie Davis and Susanna Hoffs will be on hand for a Q&A afterward. Tickets are $11 at the door or via Ticketmaster.

DC Pierson lives in Los Angeles and is one-fifth of the sketch group DERRICK COMEDY and co-writer and co-star of their film "Mystery Team" (co-starring Donald Glover, from the NBC comedy series "Community). He is also the author of the novel "The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep And Never Had To." He's good at comedy but bad at girls. Join him for an hour of standup and stories about completely blowing it.
