Boobs and Goombas: A Super Mario Burlesque @Gorilla Tango

The world's most adventurous plumbers will finally rescue the Princess and consummate years of amorous toil, or be seduced along the way by their alluring enemies in "Boobs and Goombas: a Super Mario Burlesque" at Gorilla Tango Theater, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave. Don't forget to bring a few "coins" (or dollars) for tips... If the cast collects enough coins along the way, the audience will unlock the alternate ending! Saturdays at midnight. Tickets are $20. 18+

Deer Tick @ Metro

Deer Tick plays the Metro tonight. Tickets are $17 in advance and $19 at the door and the show is 18+. The show also features openers Scott Lucas & The Married Men and Turbo Fruits and begins at 9pm, with doors opening at 8pm. The Metro is located at 3730 N. Clark Street, (773) 549-4140. World Naked Bike Ride

World Naked Bike Ride Chicago pushes off tonight at 6pm from a location that won't be disclosed online -- you'll have to join the email list to find out details. Keep an eye on the Facebook group, too.

Chicago Outfit vs. Carolina, So. Illinois @ Windy City Fieldhouse

The Chicago Outfit are in a double header tonight at the Windy City Fieldhouse (2367 W. Logan). The Outfit's A team, the Syndicate, will be facing off against the Carolina Rollergirls, while their C team, the Shakedown, bout against the So Ill Roller Girls. The bout kicks off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. As always, parking is blessedly free.

Midsommarfest

Andersonville (@ Foster and Clark) turns into a street festival epicenter this weekend. Food, entertainment, kids stuff, and outdoors fun is on the bill. Saturday and Sunday, 11am-10pm. Suggested donation $5.

Ribfest

Get rib-by with it at Ribfest, which runs tonight, Saturday and Sunday at the intersection of Irving Park, Damen, and Lincoln. Music, beer, more beer, and ribs await you. Event runs noon-10pm today and Sunday.

Printers Row Lit Fest

Today and tomorrow, one of the Midwest's largest literary festivals will once again take place in Printers Row in the South Loop. You'll find tons of books for sale (old, new, rare; you name it, they got it), author readings, panel discussions, and much more. They even have special events just for kids. Admission is free, but some events may require pre-registration. Today features Dan Rather, Rachael Ray and Sapphire; click here for a complete list of today's events.

Girl Shy @ Music Box

The Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave., presents Harold Lloyd's 1928 classic Girl Shy at noon today as part of its Second Saturday Silent Cinema series. Dennis Scott accompanies on the organ. Tickets are $10, $8 for students, online or at the door.

Lambic & Sour Beer Festival @ Delilah's

Delilah's, 2771 N. Lincoln Ave., hosts its Lambic & Sour Beer Festival, a tasting of Belgian lambic and geuze beers from more than a dozen breweries, from noon to 5pm today. $20 gets you 20 sample tickets. 21+

Experimental Garage Sale

The electronics designers at GetLoFi.com present their 5th annual Experimental Garage Sale today from noon to 6pm at Experimental Sound Studio (5925 N. Ravenswood). A group of about 10 vendors will be selling experimental electronic sound equipment, effects pedals, spare parts, microphones, DIY electronic kits, and much more. More information on the event is available at the GetLoFi Website. The event is free and open to the public.

Blues Fest

The Chicago Blues Festival runs Jun 8-10 in Grant Park, showcasing dozens of bands on five stages. Today's lineup includes Billy Branch, Terry "Big T" Williams, Harry Garner Band, a tribute to Muddy Waters' disciples, and Floyd Taylor; see the full schedule here. The music starts at 11am and runs till 9:30pm. Free.
