Blackhawks Victory Parade & Rally

The Blackhawks will celebrate their Stanley Cup win with a victory parade on Washington Street from the United Center to a rally at Hutchinson Field in Grant Park. The parade will kick off at 10:30am, with the rally start at 11am. The City will begin closing streets beginning at midnight Thursday night, including all streets between Roosevelt on the south, Randolph on the north, Lake Shore Drive on the east and Michigan Avenue on the west. Commuters, plan accordingly.

Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival

The Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival runs this weekend, June 28-30, on Milwaukee Avenue between Kedzie and Diversey. The festival features live music on two stages, more than 50 artist booths, food from neighborhood restaurants, family activities and more. The festival runs from 5pm to 10pm tonight; $5 suggested donation.

Pride & Joy Kickoff @ Center on Halsted

The Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St., hosts its Pride & Joy Kickoff to Pride Weekend tonight from 5:30 to 9:30pm, featuring DJ Marc "Moose" Moder and host Cyon Flare. Admission is $20, which includes 4 drink tickets. 21+

Summer Music Film Festival @ Music Box

The Music Box Theatre and Sound Opinions present the third annual Summer Music Film Festival. Eight films will be screened over the next week, ranging from the classic 1983 hip hop film Wild Style to the Chicago premiere of the documentary Ain't In It For My Health: A Film About Levon Helm. The premiere happens this evening at 7:00pm, and includes an introduction by Sound Opinions co-hosts Jim DeRogatins and Greg Kot. Schadenfreude Rent Party

Schadenfreude holds its first rent party in quite awhile tonight at Beat Kitchen, 2100 W. Belmont Ave. The show will feature Ald. Scott Waguespack among other special guests. Doors open at 7pm, show's at 7:45pm. $10 online or at the door. 21+

Naked Raygun @ Metro

Naked Raygun performs the first of two shows at the Metro, 3730 N. Clark St., tonight, with Zero Boys and the Crombies opening. Doors open at 8pm, show's at 9pm. Tickets are $23 online or at the door. 18+

Shit Show @ The Shambles

Comedy showcase The Shit Show is back at The Shambles, 2050 W. Division St., tonight at 8pm. Hosts Ever Mainard and Rasa Gierstikas lead the way, with Hot Dog Man passing out free shots of Fireball whiskey. Free, 21+

Gapers Block presents: the MAAF Afterparty @ Logan Square Auditorium

The MAAF Afterparty, presented by Gapers Block, features Tobacco, CAVE, Oscillator Bug and Jamaican Queens tonight at Logan Square Auditorium, 2539 N. Kedzie Blvd. Tickets are just $5 for the first 50 people who grab their tickets, and $10 after. Doors open at 8:30pm, with music running from 9pm-1am. The Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival runs from June 28-30, with music, food, art and more.

Stacks! Soul Librarian Dance Party @ Late Bar

The Read/Write Library hosts the Stacks! Soul Librarian Dance Party tonight at Late Bar, 3534 W. Belmont Ave., from 10pm to 1am. DJs MLE, Jennifer Juniper, Edith, John Ciba of the Rabbit Factory, Aret and JJ of Windy City Soul Club, and Southside Eric of Fear City Sound System will spin, Glitter Guts will run the photobooth, and there'll be prizes for the best '60s, soul or librarian-style outfits. $10 donation, all proceeds benefit Read/Write Library. 21+
