Provenance Food and Wine, 2312 West Leland Avenue in Lincoln Square, will host its weekly *free* wine tasting. The informal, open-house event starts at 6pm and goes until 8pm. While you're there enjoying the fruit of the vine, check out some of the shop's gourmet items, including Gary Poppins Popcorn, Smoke Daddy BBQ sauces and Salted Caramel Sweet & Savory Confections. The 33rd annual American Music Festival runs July 3-6 at FitzGerald's, 6615 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Berwyn. Tickets are $30 at the door, with a $5 discount for the first hour after doors; four-day passes are available online only for $100. Kids under 12 are $5, and are welcome until 10pm each day. Doors open today at 1pm.
