This free festival celebrates the summer with a concert by hit 80s/90s R&B sensations Dru Hill, Guy, SWV, Al B. Sure, as well as a performance by legendary soul singers, The Blue Notes. The Chicago Air & Water Show will be driving pets crazy Saturday and today from 10am to 3pm. The show takes place along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as the focal point. See a list of headliners here. Free.
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church's annual Greek Fest runs this weekend, Aug. 16-18, in the church parking lot, 2727 W. Winona Ave. There's Greek music and dancing and a marketplace, but really this is a festival about food, and there's plenty of it. $2 donation at the door is requested; bring cash for the food and beverage tents. The fest is open from noon to midnight today.
The Mud Queens of Chicago female mud wrestling league dirties up Three Aces, 1321 W. Taylor St., tonight from 4 to 8pm. Five matches are on the schedule, including the championship bout featuring defending champ El BaƱo, and Absolutely Not and Those About To Rock are performing live. Tickets are $12. 21+
Laugh Factory, 3175 N. Broadway, presents the Underdogs of Comedy, featuring Ronnie Ray, Jay Washington and Tara Terry. Doors open at 7:30pm, show's at 8pm. Tickets are $17, or get VIP entry and seating for $27. 18+, two drink minimum.
