Festa Italiana
Festa Italiana takes over Taylor Street from Racine to Ashland Aug. 22-25. Enjoy live music by (mostly) Italian-American acts, shop local vendors, enjoy Italian food -- maybe even participate in a meatball-eating contest or grape stomp -- play bocce and more. The festival is open from 5 to 11pm tonight.
A Jangleheart Circus @ Den Theatre
Upstairs Gallery presents A Jangleheart Circus, a three-day comedy festival Aug. 22-24 at the Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. The lineup features several dozen sketch and improv comedy troupes from Chicago and beyond. Performances run from 7pm to 1am each day. Tickets are $20 per day or $50 for a three-day pass.
Wood Sugars "Freak Show featuring Regular Adults"
Step right up to this sketch-comedy spectacle of meltdown-prone, vulnerable, and average people! It's your penultimate chance to see Wood Sugars' "Freak Show featuring Regular Adults." This side-show boasts new-aged oddities such as "Dub-Step Father," "Craft Beer Nerd vs Wine Snob" and "Gravedigger: the man on a first date who shares his uninformed opinion on a woman's issue" The show starts promptly at 8pm at the Public House Theater (3914 N. Clark, just south of Irving Park). Tickets are $10, and include a beer. 21+

Berlin DJ Rampue spins at Primary, 5 W. Division St., tonight, with Max Jacombson and Alissa Jo opening. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Doors open at 10pm. 21+
