New Politics @ Bottom Lounge
New Politics headline an all-ages show tonight at Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St. Magic Man and Sleeper Agent open. Doors are at 5:45, show starts at 6:30pm. Tickets are sold out.
Story Club @ Holiday Club
Story Club returns to the Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan Ave., tonight at 8pm. The theme this month is "What I Now Know Is..." and features readings by Solo in the Second City producer Carly Oishi, Story Club South Side host/co-producer Andrew Marikis and writer Sarah Hollenbeck. There's also an open mic, signup for which begins at 7:30pm. $10 suggested donation. 21+
Waka Winter Classic @ Double Door
The Wakarusa Music Festival's annual Waka Winter Classic tours through town tonight at the Double Door, 1572 N. Milwaukee Ave. The show features Great Divide, Digeometric, The Buzzhounds, The Leadfoot Band and Lakeside Collective. Doors open at 8pm, show's at 8:30. Tickets are $7. 21+
