Chicago - The Musical is on tour and the Tony Award Winning musical's first show back in the city is tonight at the Bank of American Theater, 18 W. Monroe St., at 7:30pm. Ticket prices vary from $89 to $306.
Two of music's most renowned artists, Paul Simon and Sting, are making a stop in Chicago at the United Center, 1901 West Madison Street, tonight. The two are currently on a brief North American tour which began in February and will continue through March. The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are still available with prices ranging from $85 to $250.
Martyrs hosts the monthly edition of The Moth StorySLAM, wherein five audience members go head-to-head with their best 5-minute story. The winner of tonight's event goes on to the Grandslam Championships at a later date. Show starts at 8:00pm, admission is $8. No advance tickets, so make sure you arrive early. Martyrs: 3855 N. The Belle Game, a punk rock band with jazzy undertones from Vancouver, is performing tonight at 8:30 p.m. at The Empty Bottle, 1035 North Western Avenue. Tickets are $10 and the show is open to those 21+.
DMK Lakeview, 2954 North Sheffield Avenue, is hosting its second comedy show, Grass-Fed Laughs 2.0, where the proceeds benefit the organization Open Heart Magic. Tonight at 10 p.m., DMK will be welcoming sketch comedy performers and ensemble performances. Tickets are $24, which includes the first drink. 100 percent of the ticket sales go to Open Heart Magic.
