Women & Children First hosts a booksigning event with President Jimmy Carter tonight at 6pm at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark St., for his new book, A Call to Action: Women,
Religion, Violence, and Power. Pres. Carter will not be speaking -- this is just a signing. By a copy of the book from W&CF in advance or at the event for admission.

The Jesus Lizard book party @ Empty Bottle

RAW Chi Town @ Bottom Lounge

The local "chapter" of RAW:natural born artists helps kickstart spring at Bottom Lounge this Thursday with RAW Chi Town Presents: MOSAIC. The celebration will feature over 40 local artists, as well as a film screening, musical performance, fashion show, art gallery, performance art and a featured hairstylist and makeup artist.
