Shelter/Chicago @ Cornerstone Community Outreach
The Living News Project presents Shelter/Chicago, a play written and performed by homeless people, homeless shelter staff, students and journalists, at Cornerstone Community Outreach, 4628 N. Clifton Ave., tonight at 5pm. Free.
Peter Wolf @ Space
Peter Wolf -- former frontman of the J. Geils Band -- performs tonight at Space, 1245 N. Chicago Ave. in Evanston. Doors open at 7, show's at 8pm. Tickets are $35-75.
Indie Boots Theatre Festival
The Indie Boots Theatre Festival runs April 28-30 at the Greenhouse Theater, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. The festival features short plays inspired by the prompt of including the word "Olivia" in the title. All nine plays are staged each night at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 online or at the box office.
