Pole Sport Organization's Central Championships

The Pole Sport Organization's Central Championships run today and Sunday at the Vittum Theatre, 1012 N. Noble St. Read our preview in Tailgate. Today's competition will begin on Saturday at 7:15am and run until 9:30pm. Tickets are $30 online or at the door.

Memorial Day Parade

Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth is grand marshal for the Memorial Day Parade today, which is marches down State Street from Van Buren up to Lake beginning at noon, following a wreath-laying ceremony at 11am at the Eternal Flame in Daley Plaza. Free.

West Loop Craft Beer Fest

The West Loop Craft Beer Fest, the official closing party for Chicago Craft Beer Week, runs from 1pm to 5pm at the French Market, 131 N. Clinton St. Sample beers from dozens of local and regional breweries, enjoy live music and entertainment. General admission tickets are $50 and include a souvenir glass and 20 tasting tickets; Designated drivers and non-drinkers get in free (but they'll kick you out if they catch you drinking.) $75 VIP tickets get you in an hour early, at noon, and include a souvenir glass, 25 tasting tickets, $10 in food tickets and access to VIP tents with exclusive pours from Goose Island and Lagunitas. 21+

EELS and Chelsea Wolfe @ The Vic

EELS will be coming to The Vic, 3145 N Sheffield Ave, in support of their 11th album, The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett. Chelsea Wolfe will open the show by performing a special acoustic set focusing on her latest album Pain is Beauty. Doors open at 8pm for this is 18+ show, tickets are $35.

Dog Brain/Verskotzi/Foxholes/Cartridge B-sides @ The Abbey

The Abbey Pub, 3420 W. Grace St., will be host to four great and diverse Midwest bands. Iowa's guitar rockers Foxholes, chamber pop from Minnesota's Verskotzi, and a pair Chicago indie rockers Dog Brain & Cartridge B-sides. The show is 21+, doors open at 9pm, tickets are $7.

Windy City Soul Club @ Empty Bottle

The Windy City Soul Club spins rare soul at the Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave., tonight at 9pm. $5 cover, 21+

Soul Summit @ Double Door

The Soul Summit DJs Sloppy White, Dave Mata and Duke Grip welcome special guest DJs THE BUMP & HUSTLE STL (DJs Hal Greens & DJ MAKossa of St. Louis) tonight at Double Door, 1572 N. Milwaukee Ave. Doors open at 9pm. Free, 21+
