Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival

The Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival runs June 27-29 on Milwaukee Avenue between Kedzie and Diversey. The festival features live music on two stages, pop-up galleries, performance art, family activities and food from local bars and restaurants. The festival runs from 5 to 10pm tonight. $5 donation requested.

Old St. Pat's World's Largest Block Party

The 30th annual World's Largest Block Party runs today and Saturday outside Old St. Patrick's Church, 700 W. Adams Ave. Headliners tonight are G. Love & Special Sauce and Guster; doors open at 5:30pm. Tickets are $40 per day, or $70 for the weekend.

Play Cities of Darkscorch @ Comfort Station

Join the Numero Group tonight at Logan Square's Comfort Station as they present the works of Robert Soden, mastermind behind their recent Darkscorch Canticles album and forthcoming Cities of Darkscorch board game. From Numero: "Born out of excessive D&D play, Burgie-brand beer, and teenage ditchweed, Soden's work is melange of pencil, watercolor, ballpoint, and felt tip markers, with a strong focus on maps, flags, band logos, and dungeons, of course." Cities of Darkscorch will be available for play and purchase tonight, beginning at 6pm and ending at 10pm.

Bottoms Up for a Cause

Join the SAMFund, supporting young adults with cancer, for drinks and hors d'oeuvres (and a photo booth!) at the Bottom Lounge (1375 W. Lake St.) tonight from 7-11pm. Tickets are $50 each. If you can't attend — or even if you can! — please consider sponsoring a ticket so that a young adult survivor can attend as a guest. Need a ride? Version Festival 14

The 14th annual Version Festival runs June 21-29 with the theme "the Placemakers." Today's event is ArchiGO: 50 Years Later, an exhibition of works by the 1960s avant-garde architectural group based at IIT, at the Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St., from 7pm to midnight. Free till 9, $5 after.

Jay Ryan Opening @ Rotofugi

Poster artist Jay Ryan celebrates the opening of Better Days Ahead, an exhibition of new paintings at Rotofugi Gallery, 2780 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight from 7 to 10pm.

Heavy Manners @ Mayne Stage

It's a night of ska tonight at the Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave., with Heavy Manners, Skapone, and Guns and Ammunition. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $13.

Dead Kennedys @ Bottom Lounge

Hardcore punk legends the Dead Kennedys play the Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St., with Downtown Brown opening. Tickets are $20. Doors open at 8pm. 17+

Pink Floyd's The Wall @ Music Box
