The Tequila Tales @ Nouveau Tavern

The Tequila Tales, a monthly online webseries focused on "adventures in love and lust," holds a live taping at Nouveau Tavern, 358 W. Ontario St., tonight from 6 to 10pm. Tickets are free, but you can reserve a table for $20. Two drink minimum. 21+

Andersonville Dinner Crawl

Sample the many culinary tastes of Andersonville at tonight's Dinner Crawl, which kicks off tonight at 6pm from the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark. Pick from the "Salt" or "Pepper" routes--if you're ambitious, you can buy the "Whole Enchilada," which is both--and enjoy. Among this year's participants are M. Henry and Andie's; tickets $25 in advance, $30 day-of.

Taste of the Nation @ Navy Pier Grand Ballroom

This benefit for Share Our Strength is a food-lover's paradise; an endless list of Chicago's best chefs (Acadia, endgrain, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, and Hoosier Mama are among those who be in attendance) serve small plates and drinks, there's entertainment and a silent auction, fireworks onsite, and best of all it helps support hunger relief organizations. Tickets start at $125; event runs 7-10pm at the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom, 600 E. Grand.

A Month Of... @ Stage 773

Story Luck presents A Month Of..., a themed open mic storytelling night with a potluck too, tonight at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., from 7:30 to 9:30pm. The theme this month is "Moving On." The potluck begins at 7:30, the show begins at 8pm. Tickets are $1 if you bring a dish to share, otherwise they're $10.

Humming House and The Ballroom Thieves @ SPACE

Humming House is a truly unique group. Their sound is a great melding of diverse genres, including Americana, bluegrass and soul with a strong dash of traditional Irish tones thrown in. They will be performing at SPACE, 1245 N. Chicago Ave. in Evanston, along with Boston trio The Ballroom Thieves' intense rock laden folk. Tickets are $10-$15. Doors open at 6:30.

Hooray for Earth and Grooms @ Schubas

Hooray for Earth will be coming to Schubas, 3159 N. Southport Ave., showcasing their soaring synth-rock. They will be joined by the experimental noise pop bandGrooms. This 21+ show starts at 9pm, tickets are $10.

New God & Keebs @ Empty Bottle

Baltimore's New God and Chicago's Keebs play the Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave. The show's only $5. Doors are at 9pm. 21+
