Barback Games @ Thalia Hall
The 2014 Fernet-Branca Barback Games are tonight at 8pm at Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport Ave. Watch as the city's best barbacks demonstrate their prowess in a series of physical (and possibly mental) challenges. Matt Roan and DJ Intel perform as well. Registration opens at 7pm, doors open at 8pm. Free, but RSVP required. 21+

Guitar great Leo Kottke is at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., Sunday and tonight. Tickets are $30-40. Doors open at 6pm, show's at 8pm.
Impress These Apes @ ComedySportz
It's week six of the Impress These Apes talent competition at ComedySportz, 929 W. Belmont Ave., at 8pm. Eight contestants compete in various talent challenges each week, attempting to earn points with the judge panel of "hyperintelligent apes from the future." Tickets are $12 online or at the door. 21+
