The Blind Boys of Alabama do a Christmas show at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., tonight at 8pm. Tickets are $40-50. Doors open at 6pm.
Chicago Cares hosts a holiday cake walk fundraiser tonight at 6pm at the Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave. Your $15 donation gets you live music by the Berry Tones, snacks and the chance to win a fabulous cake. 21+
An assortment of wines, holiday cookies, a candlelight tour and a historic mansion are what the International Museum of Surgical Science, 1524 N. Lake Shore Dr., has in store for this evening from 6 to 8:30pm. A slideshow of photographs which feature the home in the 1940s will follow the candlelight tour.
