Graze Magazine hosts All Chili Considered, a chili cookoff featuring chefs from the Brixton, Bite Cafe, Chop Shop, Flying Saucer, Heartland Cafe, Tomato Mountain Farm, Snarf's Sandwiches, the Southern and Yusho, today at noon at Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave. There'll also be a raffle for a bunch of culinary prizes. Tickets are $9 in advance, $10 at the door.

The 39th annual Do-It-Yourself Messiah is performed today and Monday at the Harris Theater for the Performing Arts, 205 E. Randolph St. Today's performance is at 3pm, and $15 tickets are now sold out, but tickets are still available for Monday's 7pm show.
