Story Sessions Brunch @ City Winery
Story Sessions holds a special brunch edition of its storytelling show today from 11am to 2pm at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., with special guests MT Cozzola, Marty McConnell, Danielle Pinnock, James Sweeney, Ted Wesenburg and Tom Wolferman. Tickets are $12. Doors open at 10:30am.
Varda Caivano "The Density of Actions" Opening Reception @ The Renaissance Society
Tonight is the opening reception of The Density of the Actions, a collection of paintings created by Varda Caivano, at the Renaissance Society. Located at 5811 S. Ellis Avenue, the opening will begin a 4PM and will follow with a discussion led by Solveig Øvstebø in the Film Studies Center directly below the gallery.
Lucha Libre Fest @ Portage Theater
The Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave., hosts Lucha Libre Fest today at 4pm, including a screening of Nacho Libre and live matches featuring L.A. Park, Atlantis, Ultimo Guerrero, Blue Panther and more. Tickets are $10 for kids, $15 for adults.
