The good folks at WBEZ are doing a taping of their Curious City podcast live at Lincoln Hall tonight. The series answers participants questions about Chicago, the region and the people who live in it. This week they're teaching us about fecal matters - everything you ever wanted (or didn't even know you wanted to know) about poo. Appropriate for kids and adults alike, tickets are $15, show starts at 7:00pm at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave.
For their March meeting, Barley's Angels is hosting a Girl Scout cookie and beer pairing tonight from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Fountainhead (1970 W Montrose Ave) with chef Cleetus Friedman as the guide. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Girl Scouts of the Greater Chicago area. Tickets are $27 per person.
Schubas continues its free local show series tonight with orchestral pop group Scout Ripley, harmonic folk group Y La Bamba and alt-country singer Keith Campbell. Show starts at 8pm and is free with RSVP. Schubas is located at 3159 N Southport Ave.
TV On The Radio do a DJ set at the River North location of Headquarters Beercade, 213 W. Institute Pl., at 9pm, along with Greg Corner and DJ Brock. No cover before 9pm with RSVP, $5 cover otherwise. 21+
