South Side Projections presents the premiere of We Grew Up Here, a short film featuring members of the band Paper Thick Walls, tonight at 7:30pm at Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St. Director Kevin Pickman and co-star Kate Schell will be in attendance for a Q&A, and Schell will perform live. Admission is $5.
Even doomsday can be funny. One family deals with the impending apocalypse in End Days, the inaugural play at the Windy City Playhouse, 3014 W. Irving Park Rd. Show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $20.
Story Club North Side returns to the Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan Rd., tonight at 7:30pm. The theme is "When It Rains..." and the featured readers include Bill Drew, Zach Zimmerman and Rose Lannin, plus a couple of open mic slots if you've got a good story to tell. $10 suggested donation at the door. 21+
