The Alphabet of Distant Harbours @ Cultural Center
The Guild Literary Complex presents "The Alphabet of Distant Harbours," a new reading platform to foreground Asian-American authors and themes, tonight at 6:30pm in the Garland Room at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. Curated by Dipika Mukherjee, tonight's program features Toni Nealie, Zhou Sivan and Angela Narciso Torres. Admission is free.
Dinner Party @ City Winery
Acadia's Ryan McCaskey, Chaz Ebert, pianist George LePauw, and photographer Sandro talk with host Elysabeth Alfano at tonight's Dinner Party at City Winery (1200 W. Randolph) tonight at 6:30pm. McCaskey will make appetizers and dinner; drinks and dessert are also provided. Ticket $45.
