Dose Market brings more than 100 vendors together today at 1034 W. Randolph St., from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $8 in advance, $10 at the door; kids 12 and under are free.

Chicago Blues Festival @ Grant Park

The largest free blues festival in the world, the Chicago Blues Festival once again returns to the city of Chicago. This year, the 32nd of the annual festival, legend Buddy Guy headlined the festival, performing last night. Today's headliners include Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues with special guest Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater; the Willie Dixon Centennial Tribute featuring Billy Branch, Keshia Dixon, Tomiko Dixon, Bobby Dixon, Freddie Dixon, Alex Dixon, Cash McCall, Sugar Blue, John Watkins, and Andrew Blaze Thomas; and the Muddy Water's Centennial Tribute featuring Bob Margolin, Mud Morganfield, Big Bill Morganfield, John Primer, Rick Kreher, Bob Stroger, Kenny "Beedy Eyes" Smith, E.G. McDaniel, Barrelhouse Chuck, Jerry Portnoy, and Paul Oscher. You can find a complete schedule of today's performances here. Grant Park is located at the junction of E. Jackson Blvd. and Columbus Drive. Admission is free.

Wells Street Art Festival

Entering its 41st year, the Wells Street Art Festival is a loved Chicago summer festival. The festival will include an array of juried art, tastes from local restaurants, live music, and activities for kids and families. The festival includes artwork from over 200 individuals, and will begin today at 11 am, located on the portion of Wells St. between North Ave. and Division St. Admission to the festival is free, however there is a suggested gate donation, which will benefit the Old Town Merchants and Residents Association.

A Day in the Country @ The Hideout

The city gets country today at the Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia), with an afternoon of music by such folks as The Siderunners and Chuck Meade and His Grassy Knoll Boys. BBQ from Honky Tonk, Pie from Bang Bang, and beer from Lagunitas accompanies the tunes. Event runs 2-11pm; tickets $10.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Summer Series

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago debuts their second program solely comprised of pieces created by Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo. Cerrudo became the company's first Resident Choreographer in 2009, and has since choreographed 13 pieces with Hubbard Street. The Series will feature a wide range of Cerrudo's pieces, including the world premiere of his 14th piece created for the Company. Today's show starts at 3pm at the Harris Theater at 205 E. Randolph. Tickets are $25-94.

Indie Incubator XX: The Eye Closes @ The Original Mother's

The twentieth and final installment of the Indie Incubator Film Fest will be held tonight at The Original Mother's, located at 26 W. Division. The fest will begin at 5pm and is comprised of short films that have been made here in Chicago. $500 will be awarded to the "Best in Fest" film. Admission to the event is free, and there will be complimentary popcorn, as well as alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Film directors and creatives can send in submissions anytime before 5pm on Friday, June 12.

Serving the Sentence @ Towbar

Serving the Sentence returns to Towbar, 1500 W. Jarvis Ave., at 7pm. This month, readers Amy Sumpter, Kendra Stevens, Cynthia Shur Petts, Robert Rodemeyer and Elena Colas all start their stories with the sentence: "What keeps me from quitting: the sound my Zippo makes when I snap it shut, and the brief smell of lighter fluid." Maggie Jenkins hosts. Free, but donations will be collected for the nonprofit Wright-Way.

Ladies Night at That's All She Wrote @ Great Lakes Tattoo

The live lit series That's All She Wrote is back at Great Lakes Tattoo, 1148 W. Grand Ave. This month's all-lady lineup includes Eileen Dougharty, Sheila Quirke, Mary Lorenz, and Gina Watters. Co-hosted by J.H. Palmer and Angela Benander. Doors open at 7:30, stories begin at 8pm. Free and BYOB.
