Esperanza Spadling Presents Emily's D+Evolution @ Lincoln Hall

Esperanza Spalding's musical base centers around jazz, but she often reaches out across multiple genres to create something uniquely beautiful with every new venture. She will be coming to Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., with a show that focuses on performance and her interests in theater, poetry, and movement. This must see show starts at 8pm is 21+. Tickets are $37.

Napoleon Dynamite @ Millennium Park

There's a free screening of Napoleon Dynamite at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St., tonight at 6:30pm as part of Bike Week.

Get Real: Docs at the Box @ Music Box Theatre

Every Tuesday evening in June the Music Box Theatre is screening recent documentaries, with post-screening discussions with directors and experts. Tonight's film is 3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets, a look at the 2012 shooting that killed Jacksonville, FL high school student Jordan Davis. Story Club's South Side edition celebrates its second anniversary at Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St., tonight at 7:30pm. Featured readers include Maggie Jenkins, Sarah Terez Rosenblum, Britt Julious and Amy Sumpter, plus a couple open mic slots. The theme this month is "Questions."
