Fiesta del Sol

Pilsen's Fiesta del Sol, the largest Latino culture festival in the Midwest, runs July 30 to Aug. 2 on Cermak Roadd from Morgan to Loomis. The festival features live music on two stages, an arts and culture pavilion, kids' area, a soccer tournament, food vendors, carnival rides and more. Admission is free; buy a "megapass" for unlimited carnival rides. The festival runs from 5 to 10pm tonight.

"A House Dance Class" @ The Chicago Cultural Center

The Chicago Cultural Center will be hosting "A House Dance Class" event which is apart of the House Music Summer series developed by The City of Chicago. The class is open to all levels and instructs the basic foundational movements and footwork in House dancing. The CCC is located at 78 E. Washington St. The event begins at 6:00 and lasts until 7:30pm.

Anthony Bourdain @ Auditorium Theatre

Chef, author and TV personality Anthony Bourdain brings his Close to the Bone tour to the Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Congress Pkwy., tonight at 7:30pm. He shares stories of his years traveling and eating for "No Reservations," "The Layover" and "Parts Unknown," and does an audience Q&A. Tickets are $70-230.

Stupid Fucking Bird @ Victory Gardens Theater

A very loose adaptation of Chekhov's The Seagull, Stupid Fucking Bird is sure to delight with its comedic twists on a classic tale. Written by Aaron Posner and performed by Sideshow Theatre, the tale centers around two generations of Russians living on a country estate and a whole lot of bird-based metaphors. Through this piece, Sideshow Theater explores what motivates us to make art and love in this hilarious re-staging, and is surely not to be missed. Tickets range from $33-$49. Chicago Handshake Launch @ Crown Liquors

Old Style and Malört launch the "Chicago Handshake," featuring those two adult beverages, tonight at 8pm at Crown Liquors, 2821 N. Milwaukee Ave. In addition to drinks, the evening will feature DJ sets by Twin Peaks, The Numero Group DJs, Todd Killings of HoZac Records, FeelTrip CEO and the Chicago Singles Club DJs. No cover. 21+

Hook @ Wicker Park

Watch this 90s-classic take on Peter Pan at 8:30pm as part of the Chicago Park District's 2015 Movies in the Park schedule. Hook is part of Wicker Park's (1425 N. Damen) "Summer of Robin Williams," featuring several films starring the late actor. This movie is free, and bug spray is encouraged!
