2015 Blind World Fleet Championship
Chicago Yacht Club presents the 2015 Blind World and International Championship for 15 Blind and Visually Impaired Sailing Teams from around the World. Located about 1.5 miles off of the Belmont Harbour, watch and cheer them at 10:55am!

The Reader's Fall Cocktail Challenge is live and in person tonight at the Godfrey Hotel, 127 W. Huron St., from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Sample drinks concocted by some of Chicago's top mixologists, based on bizarre ingredients suggested by their peers. Tickets are $40. 21+
Joe Meno Book Release @ Book Cellar
Celebrate the release of Joe Meno's new novel, Marvel and a Wonder tonight at 7pm at the Book Cellar, 4736 N. Chicago Fringe Festival
The Chicago Fringe Festival runs Sept. 3-13 in five venues throughout the Jefferson Park neighborhood. Milwaukee Ave., then take your pick of the many performances of experimental theater, performance art, sketch comedy, dance and more -- see the schedule for daily details.
