Vintage Garage is back at the parking garage at 5051 N. Broadway today from 10am to 5pm. The theme is "Retro Chicago," and vendors will showcase Chicago-related items -- shop for fashion, furniture, accessories, music and more. $5 admission.
The Renegade Craft Fair returns to Division Street between Damen and Paulina Saturday and today from 11am to 6pm. Shop more than 350 crafters, get food from food trucks and area restaurants and cafes, participate in workshops and more. Free.
The Ravenswood Art Walk runs Saturday and today from 11am to 6pm at locations along both sides of Ravenswood Avenue from Waveland to Lawrence. Visit dozens of open studios and see artwork displayed in local businesses, shop in the artist market between Berteau and Belle Plaine, enjoy live music on two stages, and sample locally brewed beer at the Begyle Brewing Urban Beer Garden. The festival is free; $5 suggested donation for admission to the artist market.
The International Exposition of Contemporary and Modern Art returns to Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave., Sept. 18-20. The festival features 140 leading galleries from around the world. The festival is open from 11am to 6pm today. Tickets are $20, or get a three-day pass for $30.
The Edgewater Historical Society presents an Edgewater Home Tour today from noon to 5pm, featuring homes in the east Andersonville neighborhood. Register for a guided tour anytime between noon and 4pm at the Philadelphia Church, 5437 North Clark St., where you'll get a tour map; a docent at each home will guide you through each property. Tickets are $25.
The 33rd annual Reeling Film Festival runs Sept. 17-24 at multiple venues throughout the city. See the schedule for full details. First screenings are at 12:15pm today.
Nonfiction live lit show The Marrow returns to the Whistler, 2421 N. Milwaukee Ave., tonight., with featured readers Dipika Mukherjee, Randall Colburn, Jes Skolnik and Mason Johnson. Naomi Hoffman and Leah Pickett host. Doors open at 5:30, readings start at 6pm. No cover, 21+
Legendary guitarist Yonatan Gat, formerly of Monotonix, is bringing his trio to the Lakeview venue to melt some face. He'll be supported by Chicago's own The Avantist and Crown Larks. The show starts at 8:00 pm, and tickets are $12 at the door or $10 here.
