Reeling Film Festival
The 33rd annual Reeling Film Festival runs Sept. 17-24 at multiple venues throughout the city. See the schedule for full details. First screenings are at 6:45pm tonight.
Ibeyi @ Thalia Hall
The soulful twins behind Ibeyi have returned to the U.S. for a second tour this year, and they will perform their downtempo tunes at Thalia Hall. LoveLive! The School Idol Movie @ Music Box
The Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave., presents a screening of LoveLive! The School Idol Movie, a fun bit of musical anime, tonight at 7pm. Tickets are $15.

Man Man @ Lincoln Hall
Multi-instrument, experimental rock band Man Man takes over Lincoln Hall tonight at 9pm. Fingers crossed they just play their 2013 release On Oni Pond from beginning to end.
